I know that the word “passion” as it applies to work may be becoming cliché and over worn. It has, in fact, made the Word Ban list of 2013, but sometimes it just fits.
I’m not the only one who thinks so.
You never achieve success unless you like what you are doing.
– Dale Carnegie
Nobody can be successful unless he loves his work.
– David Sarnoff, CEO of RCA
Being passionate about something is the key to success. But using that passion to help others is the key to happiness.
– Arnold Schwarzenegger
There is another lady who agrees with the above sentiments as is evidenced by the passion she brings to what she does. It has been our privilege to work with retired school administrator Christy Heinrich over the past several years and we have been able to watch this passion in action.
Christy Heinrich is the owner and founder of Stone Carver Technologies, LLC. Formed in 2009 and located in Northern Nevada, Stone Carver Technologies, LLC is a minority owned small business that has its focus on technology and works closely with business, individuals and school administrators.

Christy Heinrich, is using eWalk to assist businesses become ISO compliant.
“Quality instruction is a strong positive variable for quality education for our children” she told me recently.
“As far I’m concerned, education cures most all the evils in the world, and on so many levels. However I can do my part in extending it, I pledge to do.”
Working with the Washoe Country School District for over 23 years and others such as Carson City School District, Our Lady of the Snows, and Douglas County School District, she specializes in training and computer administration,
Christy is also an expert at setting up and managing the eWalk data management system. She says that eWalk is “easy, fast and efficient.”
“It is a quality product that gives clients more bang for their buck than they ever imagined,” Christy told me enthusiastically. “eWalk helps administrators enrich teachers’ instructional experience and aides businesses in being efficient without sacrificing quality.”

An example of some of the industries Christy is working with using eWalk.
With her love of education, technology and communication, Christy is not confining her efforts to the educational system. She knows that management of data shares basic fundamentals across fields and the same requirements of mobility, reporting features, ease of use and aggregation are also needed in other industries for sales reporting, inventory, quality assurance, workplace inspections and sport or fitness data.
With Lin Kuzniczci of Choice Consulting, Heinrich is expanding efforts to assist businesses with becoming ISO compliant. Christy points out that “for a business to become ISO certified and compliant it is necessary to have a vast amount of workplace data at your fingertips and eWalk solves this problem easily, making all your workplace data reportable”.
eWalk is helping businesses with the ISO certification process
Christy’s enthusiasm is evident when you look at her website or speak with her, “I get excited when I think about where it could all go”, she says. “I teach them what they can do with it and how to use it, they run with it. It’s a win-win!”
We think that it is certainly a win for Christy’s clients as she has a commitment to quality service and a love of what she does that is difficult to find.
As comedian Bill Cosby once said, “Anyone can dabble, but once you’ve made that commitment, your blood has that particular thing in it, and it’s very hard for people to stop you.“
With the development work we are completing on eWalkPLUS, there will be even greater flexibility for mobile data collection and reporting.
This will open up a range of possibilities including ISO certification data collection tasks and reporting.
We are grateful to Christy and her team for taking eWalking into new areas.
I recently became aware of our facilities department using eWalk to conduct facility inspections. Another example of eWalk being used outside the classroom.
